Saturday Academy: Application Policies and Procedures...

1. Mail your application to Saturday Academy, at the address below, along with one of the following: a check for tuition, a MasterCard or VISA authorization, or a request for tuition assistance. Faxed applications must include credit card information and authorization or a request for tuition assistance. Applications are processed in the order received. Sorry, no telephone or online registrations.

2. To apply for tuition assistance, complete the application form, checking the "Please send tuition assistance form (one class per student per term)" box. Send or fax in the form. The application will be processed and, if available, a spot will be held in the class while the tuition assistance paperwork is being processed.

3. Attendance at the first class is required for most courses. Students missing the first class risk being withdrawn from the class with partial or no refund (see refund policy).

4. Procedures:

If you are enrolled, you will receive details and directions approximately one week before the first class.
If the class is full when your application arrives, you will be notified and placed on a waiting list.
If there is insufficient enrollment, the class will be canceled and you will be notified by mail or phone.

5. Refund Policy:

All withdrawals are subject to a $25 non-refundable processing fee.
Partial refund (80% of tuition less $20) will be issued for late withdrawals (less than five working days (M-F) prior to class).
No refund will be issued for withdrawals occurring less than one working day (M-F) before the first class.
Full refund will be issued if the class is canceled.

6. In Case of Inclement Weather...
...listen to the radio, television, or check www.kgw.com/schoolclose.asp. If the site in which the class is normally held has been closed, class will be canceled. Or, call 748-7497 for a recorded message on class cancellations. Whenever possible, we will reschedule canceled classes.
