go into publishing a book. Learn about the different roles and responsibilities various publishing professionals must master in order to produce books. We'll look at the industry as a whole, first starting with query letters and story submissions sent to editors by would-be authors. We'll cover the range of the industry including how book covers are designed to convey a certain look and feel. We'll practice writing back cover copy and reviews for our future award-winning books. You are encouraged to bring your book or story ideas to the first class! |
