Apprenticeships in Science and Engineering (ASE) is part of Saturday Academy, a self-funded program of Portland State University and Oregon Health & Science University.

ASE is funded by private businesses, universities, and government agencies that also provide mentors to the program.

ASE is also funded by school districts, private donations, and charitable foundations. Significant grants have been provided by the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust and the National Science Foundation.

To get to our office:

  • We are on Portland State University's campus.  Directions to the campus can be found at this link.
  • Once on or near campus, go to SW Park Ave.  We are on SW Park Ave between SW Market and SW Mill streets.  The address is 1633 SW Park Ave.
  • We are in the two-story brick building called "Extended Studies."
  • Walk in the front door and take your first left.  Go down the stairs and take your first right into our offices.
